According to regulations, seafood cannot be shipped in liquid form, so passengers cannot put a large amount of ice cubes in the foam box. It is better to freeze the mineral water bottle full of water in advance and put it into the foam box containing seafood to cool down. After taking seafood to the airport, citizens should first go to the packaging area to pack it. The staff will cover the plastic foam with two layers of plastic film, and then pack it with cardboard boxes. In total, a seafood box needs to be wrapped in at least four layers to board the plane.
According to regulations, pets cannot be brought into the cabin and can only be checked in. The small animals that need to be checked in must have an animal immunization certificate, and the containers used to hold the small animals must comply with the regulations of the air cargo company, and be able to prevent the small animals from escaping, reaching out their paws, and leaking feces. Small animals and containers checked in will be charged separately as overweight luggage.
In addition, the Civil Aviation Administration of China has issued a transportation standard specifically for the carrying of lithium batteries. Electronic consumer goods containing lithium batteries, such as mobile phones, laptops, and their spare batteries, cannot be checked in. Passengers can bring them on board, but insulation measures must be taken. At present, Yantai Airport has placed small plastic bags at check-in counters and security checkpoints for passengers to store electronic device batteries for insulation. Regarding batteries, if the battery capacity does not exceed 100Wh (watts per hour), there is no limit to the number of batteries that can be carried. That is to say, there are no restrictions on carrying regular mobile phones and a few spare batteries within a reasonable range. Batteries exceeding 160Wh must be transported as dangerous goods according to the regulations of the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
